Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway recently established the Wound Care Center® for the treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds. Associated with inadequate circulation, poorly functioning veins and immobility, non-healing wounds occur most frequently in people with diabetes and poor circulation. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway has partnered with Wound Care Centers Inc, the nation’s leader in wound management. Opened this summer, the Center’s outcomes are outstanding, with a better than 95 percent heal rate.

The SleepCare Center â„¢
This fall we opened the SleepCare Center with our partners SleepCare Center Inc. A sleep study at performed at our center will help your physician diagnose and treat your sleep problems. The test provides a comprehensive record of your sleep patterns, leg movements, blood oxygen levels, breathing, heart rhythm, and snoring. Results are evaluated by a sleep specialist, who forwards them to your personal physician, along with a diagnosis and recommendation for treatment.

The Center for Rehabilitation
The hospital is home to The Center for Rehabilitation, which provides comprehensive rehabilitation for a variety of impairments. The focus is on restoring and improving function in mobility, self-care, independence and quality of life. Services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language and dysphagia treatment, and audiology for both inpatients and outpatients.
