Bergen Regional is both the largest hospital with 1,070 beds and the largest licensed nursing home in New Jersey. Additionally, with 323 beds, Bergen Regional is one of the largest medical resources providing a continuum of care for the behavioral health community. Bergen Regional has a full service emergency department, state of the art operating suites and 21 ambulatory specialty services available through the BRMC clinic.

Long Term Care, Behavioral Health Services,
& Acute Care
Long Term care with an emphasis on family. The well being of both our residents and their families at the very center of our care. A variety of programs at all functional levels are offered to meet medical, nutritional, social, recreational, rehabilitation and spiritual needs of our residents. We encourage individuality and self-determination and offer educational support programs for family members and caregivers.
We provide 24 hour nursing care, 365 days a year.
Our dedicated staff of professionals provide care to our residents and creates a home- like atmosphere to serve each individual.
Rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, are offered seven days a week.
In-house respiratory therapy services available to all residents depending on need. A 12-bed ventilator unit is available.
We have a Respite Care program available.
Our Food and Nutrition Services are staffed with fully credentialed dietitians, able and willing to accommodate most food preferences and therapeutic diets.
Hospice services are available for those with terminal diagnosis. This service, if elected, is provided in addition to the care offered by our professional nursing, social work and other staff.
Several high medical activity units are available. Intravenous therapies, gastrostomy tube feeding and advanced respiratory support services are provided on an as needed basis.
A comprehensive wound care program is offered for those in need.
Multi faith pastoral care provided at bedside and in our interfaith chapel.
A full service personal care salon on site. Services offered in the Salon or in the privacy of your room.
