Set on beautiful grounds in a spacious Tudor building, Cranford Hall is a family owned facility offering a unique blend of home-like ambiance, professional services, and personalized care for over forty years. Our highly trained professional staff monitors 100 residents in a warm and protective environment.

Emphasis is on the individual, his/her immediate medical and social needs, potential for rehabilitation, optimal independence, and assurance of dignity.
Conveniently located in the center of Union County, Cranford Hall is easily accessible via public transportation, the Garden State Parkway and several major thoroughfares.

Cranford Hall is a family owned facility housed in a landmark building and has served the elderly and disabled of Union County for over forty years.

In 1924 a prosperous silk merchant built this estate on the banks of the Rahway River. It was a magnificent structure that reminded many of a castle. After years of neglect following the great Depression, when the heirs of the estate could no longer meet the tax burden, it reverted to the town and the building became a boarding house and doctors' offices. In 1964 the Zeltner family purchased the property and constructed an adjacent building to create a nursing facility that continues today to be more like "home" for residcents, staff and families.

At Cranford Hall we strive each day to foster independence, a sense of well being and dignity to all residents.

Residents are provided with three nourishing meals and several snacks throughout the day. Our Dietitian provides daily oversight and creates menus to enhance appetites and delight palates.

From bowling to bingo, horticulture to hand massage, our Activities Team is busy providing diversional and therapeutic programs to meet individual needs and function level. You can spend time outside in our lovely landscaped grounds and gardens, interact with local children through our intergenerational programs during the year, enjoy our resident pets, or pursue your former hobbies. Our monthly Activity Calendar is designed to enhance the quality of life, self esteem and sense of accomplishment of each individual resident.
