Elizabeth Nursing and Rehab Center is a 102 bed skilled nursing facility in historic Elizabeth. For nearly half of a century, Elizabeth Nursing and Rehab Center has earned a reputation for providing quality care and loving attention to those whom we have been privileged to serve. When family and friends are called upon to make difficult decisions, it is comforting to know that they can turn to experienced professionals.
Our Medical Director, who is Board certified in Geriatric Medicine, oversees the medical care of all of our residents and works closely with all of the physicians on our staff.

NURSING STAFF CARING FOR RESIDENTS
Elizabeth Nursing and Rehab Center provides 24 hour skilled nursing care delivered by registered and licensed practical nurses. Our staff assists patients in recovering form various acute medical and orthopedic conditions. These range from fractures, surgery, amputations, CVA/stroke, wound care, pneumonia and congestive heart failure, to Alzheimers Disease and related dementias.
We pride ourselves in our ability to provide skilled nursing in the areas of wound management, nutritional support and cardiac and respiratory services. The nursing department works closely with other departments including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and the recreation departments to enhance the resident's progress.
We are a restraint free facility. Restorative nursing care is offered in order to maximize therapy and achieve independent functioning. CNAs have permanent assignments in order to develop close relationships with the residents and we also try to accommodate patient's cultural needs.
