Saddle Brook and Brook Wood Convalescent Homes are located one block apart in Saddle Brook, NJ. For the past thirty years, the homes have been mutually owned and operated by the Ostreicher family. Each 52 bed facility provides long-term or short-term care along with nutritional monitoring, medication management, personal care and other medical services.

Our dedicated staff provide the residents with tender loving care in a homelike environment. Our smallness lends a personal touch that larger facilities can't provide.
We pride ourselves on the fine reputation of excellent patient care that has been earned over the years from residents and families, as well as federal, state and local inspectors.

Saddle Brook and Brook Wood Convalescent Homes offer post-hospitalization medical and sub-acute rehabilitation services. We treat residents in need of rehabilitation, wound care, cardiac care, post-surgical care, Alzheimers and dementia care, and may other conditions.

Residents can choose to have their own family physician attend to their medical needs, or they may choose from a list of attending physicians.

Family involvement is an important component of each resident's plan of care. Family members are invited to attend care plan meetings and be an active participant in the care of their loved one. Along with our interdisciplinary team of professionals, together we shall strive to improve the residents' quality of life throughout their stay.
