Welcome to the Senior Care of Camden Website.
Our center provides adult day health care to elderly, frail, or disabled adults. Designed to be an alternative to home health services, nursing homes or assisted living facilities, our state-of-the-art center offers a daytime program of recreational activities, social services, meals, and nursing care in a safe, caring environment.
Senior Care of Camden gives clients the chance to receive professional care, while still remaining independent in their communities. Our center allows guests to have their medical, social, and emotional needs met in one comfortable setting, and gives friends and family peace of mind that their loved one is in good hands. The Senior Care Center of Camden is located on the health campus of Virtua Camden. We have been providing a wide variety of health and recreational programs for our guests for over a decade. Being situated at the health campus enables us to provide our clients with easier access to medical services, such as the emergency department, laboratory and radiology services, and pharmacy. Our clients enjoy having a place to go during the day to socialize with others and maintain their wellness.
The health and safety of our guests is our top priority. We assist those with health problems, dietary restrictions, Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of dementia. We will even arrange for transportation to and from medical appointments.
We also provide some fun recreational programs for our guests. Whether our guests are making bouquets for a flower show, learning about different countries and cultures, or visiting local restaurants, there is something for everyone!
Many of our professional, caring employees are from the surrounding community and several are bilingual. Our staff is proud of the center and devoted to the clients they serve. OUR SERVICES Hours: We are open regularly from Monday thru Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm. Our center also features a Saturday program from
9am – 2pm.
Senior Care of Camden provides an alternative to in-home care and assisted living facilities, while providing our guests with health care, as well as the opportunity to grow mentally and socially. Our center provides exciting recreational activities, nutritious meals, and professional health care programs.
Our center’s services include:
• Transportation to and from our center, as well as medical appointments
• A professionally trained on-staff nurse
• Healthcare programs in Physical, Speech and Occupational therapies, as well
as Podiatry care
• Recreational activities such as crafts, games, puzzles, music, exercise
programs, and daytrips
• And nutritious meals provided on a daily basis. We will cater to any special
dietary needs
Our center abides by building and fires codes, and all other state guidelines. We are also secured with coded entry pads to ensure maximum security. No one can enter or exit without the help of our staff.
Physicians, friends, and family caregivers can rest assured that their loved one is receiving appropriate care at the Senior Care Center of Camden.
