Wellness Center
Vibrant, independent senior living at The Atrium goes hand in hand with helping you achieve and maintain your best health. Most basic healthcare services are no more than an elevator trip away in the Atrium’s on-site Wellness Center, where our medical director – a qualified, credentialed physician – is on-site two days a week. In addition, a registered nurse staffs the center Monday through Friday to provide convenient personal and healthcare services right where you live. The Atrium Wellness Center can arrange for a variety of specialty services including the following:

EKGs
X-Rays
Ultrasounds
Physical therapy
Occupational therapy

Emergency response
For your additional peace of mind, a nurse is on call 24 hours a day. Even more reassuring, the award-winning, state-of-the-art acute care community hospital, Riverview Medical Center, is just two short blocks away.
Ongoing Staff Training
At the Atrium Wellness Center we engage recognized local and regional leaders in healthcare specialties and senior care to provide our staff with the latest developments in research and education. Our goal is to host regular training and information sessions to ensure that our staff is always prepared to give you the most effective and progressive care.
Fitness Center
There’s no better way to maintain your health than to keep yourself as fit as you can be. Everyone in the Atrium community will be able to find an activity that suits their interests and abilities in our fully equipped fitness center.
Attending to your spiritual health
We understand that for many, ideal health and well-being are a function of the spirit as well as of the body. That’s why The Atrium provides spiritual offerings to meet the needs of every member of our community. Transportation is available that allows you to regularly visit your chosen house of worship. Our in-house chaplain is available for counseling and spiritual care or perhaps simply for quiet conversation, if that is what is needed. She also conducts resident seminars on relevant topics such as forgiveness, positive aging, music and more. At The Atrium, we’re committed to helping you maintain your personal well being—mind, body and soul.

PHS Encore!
As a PHS Senior Living community, The Atrium is a participant in the PHS Foundation’s innovative Encore Program. Encore engages world-class arts and cultural partners to develop programs that can be brought directly to The Atrium’s on-site auditorium. For example, programs might include special appearances by members of the local arts and culture community, performance by accomplished Opera NJ virtuosos and exhibits by award-winning painters and sculptors.
