Of course, at The Pines at Whiting you'll have time to make the most of retirement life, because your apartment, the grounds, and the amenities will be expertly maintained, and housekeeping, dining and utilities are included. So use that time to check out the fun in the fitness center, performing arts center and throughout our 50-acre campus. All with security of Lifecare in a Continuing Care Retirement Community with independent living, assisted living and a rehabilitation and nursing home.
Residential Options
We have developed a “neighborhood†concept so residents can live and socialize with people who have similar needs, experiences and hopes. There are independent lifecare options for seniors who wish to increase their overall sense of security and continue to live a vital life, and health care options for those needing more personalized assistance and skilled care.
At The Pines at Whiting, our healthcare program now offers five distinct residential neighborhoods so that as people age and care needs increase, residents can move to another neighborhood that can better meet their needs. Sometimes people even move to a new neighborhood to regain strength and then return to their former one. This approach enables us to provide more personal care and create a more supportive living environment. We do as much as we can to deliver the care you need in the way you want!

Assisted Living Neighborhoods:
The Commons at Georgetown Assisted Living offers personal care support for tasks such as dressing, grooming and taking medications.
The Pavilion at Georgetown Assisted Living provides medical support and a greater level of assistance with daily activities.
The Garden Walk at Georgetown Assisted Living provides special care for individuals with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Health Care Neighborhoods:
Transitions Rehabilitation at Hamilton Place Health Care provides short-term rehabilitation in a hotel-like setting for those just discharged from the hospital.
Long-Term Care at Hamilton Place Health Care offers a warm, inviting environment for individuals requiring 24-hour nursing care.
Hamilton Place Healthcare
Besides Transitions, the short term rehab program at The Pines at Whiting, we also offers traditional long term care or nursing home for those residents who require 24-hour nursing care and personal care.
